Larsen's time of 44.44 in the 100 free was a provisional qualifier for the NCAA tournament in March in Austin, Texas. David Fleisch was a four-event winner with victories in the 100 back (50.70), 200 back (1:50.09), 200 IM (151.94) and the 200 medley relay (130.59). "We had a great meet against UNLV," comments Head Coach Michael Litzinger. "I'm proud of the men's team, we have turned the corner and posted some of the top scores in the conference. On the women's side our youth showed in crunch time. They swam a great back half of the meet but it wasn't enough to get the win."
