Utah Women's Swimming and Diving Lose To New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE- The Utah women's swimming and diving team fell to the New Mexico Lobos yesterday, with a final score of 133-108. This was the Utes final conference competition before the Mountain West Conference Championships in Feb. Utah's record is now 2-7 for the season and 1-6 in the Mountain West Conference.
Utah won seven of the thirteen individual events including both relay events.
Hiedi Hausknecht once again took her place as a team leader, winning the 50 free (24.37) and the 100 free (52.92). Amber Nye won the 200 back (2:09.56) and diver Jill Comins took the 1-meter dive with 240.98.
The Utah men and women are back in action today at the University of the Pacific at 3:00 p.m.
