Swimming Hosts Wyoming And Air Force

This Friday and Saturday will mark the last two home meets for the University of Utah swimming and diving team. The Utes will host the Wyoming Cowboys on Friday at 5:00 p.m. and the Air Force Falcons on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Both competitions will be held in the Ute Natatorium.
Senior Heidi Hausknecht is one of Utah's top performers this season. At the U.S. Open, Hausknecht finished sixth in both the 100 fly and 50 free events. She is also the only returning All-American on the Ute squad this year.
Freshman Kristen Kaiser has made a splash in her inaugural season with the Utes. During the first competition of the season, Kaiser broke the school record in the 400 IM with a time of 4:35.44.
Diver Jill Comins qualified to compete in the 3-meter event at the NCAA Zone Diving meet, earlier this week against BYU.
Freshman Sterling Richards will join Comins at the NCAA Zone Diving competition. Richards also qualified in the 1-meter event against BYU.
Sophomore David Fleisch has taken his place among Utah's top performers in the IM competitions. Fleisch won the 400 IM event against BYU on Tuesday.
