SALT LAKE CITY -
The University of Utah women's basketball team hopes to keep its record spotless, Saturday, when the Utes host Boise State at 3 p.m. in the Huntsman Center. Utah, 5-0, will meet a 1-3 Boise team that picked up its first win against Weber State on Thursday. The Utes also beat Weber back on November 25.
Utah is led in scoring by senior forward Kristina Andersen, who is averaging 11.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. The Utes' only other double-figure scorer is freshman point guard Kelsy Stireman (10.2 ppg). That doesn't mean the Utes aren't scoring. They are averaging 74.8 points per game, 32 more than their opponents, who average 42.6 ppg.
