We're all preparing for that mentally, physically, and academically. Most of all, we are ready to compete. The first Invitational was very typical. It definitely demonstrated how competitive the Western Region is going to be, and where we have to ski in order to be competitive. We're fired up for this weekend. We are anxious to get it going, and to see where we're at."Saturday, Feb. 6 Women's 5K Classical/Pursuit 9:30 a.m. Men's/Women's Giant Slalom 9:45 a.m. Men's 10K Classical/Pursuit 10:30 a.m.
Previously: The Utes have had been off for two weeks. The last competition for the alpine team was on Jan. 16 and 17 at the Utah Invitational. There was no cross country competition at the Invitational, so the nordic team hasn't raced since Jan. 8 and 9 at the season opener hosted by Montana State University. The Cross Country races from the Utah Invitational have been postponed until Feb. 20 and 21.
